Butcher paper can be used to wrap your brisket if you aren't a fan.

Wrapping a brisket in aluminum foil is another good way to enhance its cooking. It traps excess moisture to prevent the Maillard reaction. This happens when sugar or protein is exposed to heat. Once the brisket wrap is done, the bark will steam, making it soggy. The bark crust turns a gorgeous mahogany color and gives off a rich, savory taste. How to make the perfect omelet

Omelets are my favorite breakfast dish. How can you make them perfectly? I've tried many recipes and different methods but none have worked. So I am sharing some tips and tricks today to help you make fluffy, delicious omelets every morning.

First, eggs can be very temperamental ingredients for making omelets. Eggs must be purchased fresh, preferably organic, and kept chilled until ready for cooking. If you don't keep them cold enough, the whites won't form properly, and the yolks will break down too much and become runny. This causes your omelets to look oddly colored. If you want to make omelets right away, it's best not to use eggs that are too cold.

You can also separate the egg before you add it to the pan. The yolk and white should not be mixed together as this can cause the omelet's curdle.

You might burn the bottom of the egg if you place the egg directly on the stovetop. This could ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, put the egg in the microwave for 10 seconds before putting it into the pan. The heat from the microwave cooks the egg just enough without overcooking it.

Next, let's talk about mixing the eggs. Mix eggs well together. You need to turn the bowl of the mixer upside down. Then shake the bowl vigorously. The egg will be thoroughly mixed in the bowl as the air is whipped.

The fun part is now - adding the milk to the mixture. First, pour half of the milk into the beaten eggs and then fold the eggs gently into the remaining milk. If you still see streaks of eggs, don't worry. These streaks will disappear once the omelet has been turned over.

After folding the eggs fold the pan onto medium heat. When the oil starts to hot, wait for the pan to cook. Add 1/4 cup butter to the oil and swirl it around to coat all sides of the pan. Now carefully crack open the lid of the pan and sprinkle salt into the pan. An additional pinch of salt will prevent the omelet form sticking to your pan.

Once the omelet forms, cover the pan again. Let the top side set completely. Flip the omelet over using a spatula or flip the pan upside down. Cook the second side for a minute or so. Take the omelet out of the pan and immediately serve.

This recipe is best when used with whole milk. But, you can use skimmed milk as well.
